Wednesday January 25
Anthologies due in class for next set of literary terms (81-90 poetry-rhyme)
Grammar assignment is due today in class

Thursday January 26
LA Times Letter to the Editor #7 is due by 8:30 A.M. on turnitin.com web site; access the LA Times site at http://www.nieonline.com/latimes/login.cfm (access paper with class username and password)
Drop, Cover & Hold Earthquake Drill is scheduled during Period Two
AP Blitz for AP English Literature is scheduled in Room 420 with Ms. Tobenkin, Ms. Bridges and Mr. Auriemmo; students should meet at lunch if interested in AP English Literature for next year

Friday January 27
The Great Gatsby (Chapters One-Three) class discussion continues from last week (dialectical journals will be returned to students)
The Great Gatsby (Chapters Four-Six) (two dialectical journals per chapter) are due next Friday, February 3 for class discussion
