No classes are in session on Monday, February 15, Presidents' Day, a legal holiday.
Raleigh-Marlowe poetry continues in class. Adventures in English Literature texts are needed for the Growth of the English Language analysis sections of the anthology. Sonnet structures will be discussed, including the Italian, the Elizabethan, and the Spenserian forms. Work begins on Shakespeare's sonnets, particularly Sonnet 73.
The Stranger talking points are due Friday for class discussion. Write five talking points per chapter for Chapters One, Two, and Three for Part I of the novel. Download the introduction quiz from STUDYPATH and complete it by Monday, February 22.
